Three notes, and only three, make up Mexico Cactus Perfume entirely, and Cuba clearly wanted something intimate rather than complicated for this particular understated release. Green accord alone carries the top, sharp and immediately clean, the kind of opening that reads more like desert air than typical perfume counters. Oriental flower notes shape the entire middle next, warm and floral, before spicy notes ground the dry down in warm, grounded depth that lingers for many long hours. Daytime wear and understated elegance both suit this green Eau De Parfum especially well, minimal rather than showy about its own considerable restraint throughout. Three careful, deliberate choices carry an entire desert landscape here, proof that fewer notes can still say plenty well.
