This is Hedgehog Fibres most popular and famous yarn base, and for good reason. Merino wool, softly spun, non-scratchy yarn. The perfect balance of soft and durable, the dye takes especially beautifully on this base. Smooth and soft with great stitch definition. The ideal yarn for accessories. It is fantastic for shawls, scarves, baby items, hats and more! It can also be held double for a DK project which makes a soft, supple fabric with even more variegation. Colours shift beautifully from one to another. Custom spun exclusively for Hedgehog Fibres.

Randomly dyed to prevent striping or pooling, as much as possible, our yarns create variegated effect that looks good in plain stockinette or advanced stitch motifs.

Gentle machine wash, delicate cycle.

Gentle washing will keep your project beautiful for longer. For best results, hand-wash your finished project with a drop of detergent or wool wash. If combining light and dark colours, please swatch as the yarns may bleed. This is especially important if using deep reds. To minimise bleeding, hand-washing in cold water is the safest option.
